Overall this is a high quality guideline providing advice relating to recovery from stroke and transient ischaemic attack. The guideline development team comprised a range of health practitioners and methodology expertise. The guideline process also involved consulting consumers. The strengths and limitations of the body of evidence are well described and the recommendations are clearly linked to the evidence. The methods of the review were well reported overall and there is a procedure outlined for updating the guideline.
