Notes:Overall this is a high quality guideline providing advice on the management of people with early colorectal cancer. The guideline development team comprised a range of health practitioners and methodology expertise. Patient representatives were involved in the development of the guideline. The strengths and limitations of the body of evidence are well described and the recommendations are clearly linked to the evidence. There is no cost effectiveness analysis and the procedure for updating the guideline is not provided. Helpful tools for implementation are provided. Although there is no formal auditing tool provided, clearly defined criteria within the recommendations could be adapted for use as an auditing tool.
